Dear Ells Bells,

The name "Dear Ellie" was taken. CURSES!

This will be a running chronicle of stories I want you to know. I will forget them if I don't write them down. I have been meaning to make some kind of record of stories for you since you were born, and have had lots of ideas about how to do it, but I've never started. Now that you are 2 1/2, I have to get these down or I will never remember them.

Hopefully they will make you laugh someday.
